Subcompact SUVs are all over the streets these days. They’re ideal for those who need more space and features in their vehicles yet want a car that is easy to handle as they make their way around Hopkins County. A favorite for many is the Ford Bronco Sport, which can effortlessly transition from the pavement to the trails, allowing those who wish to explore the chance to do so in a vehicle that can keep up with their lifestyle. If you’re looking for a Ford dealer near Madisonville, look no further than Kate Faupel Ford, where we showcase a lineup of Bronco Sport models that won’t disappoint, but what about your other options? The Honda HR-V is another top pick for those searching for a small-size SUV, but when it comes to the 2024 Bronco Sport vs the 2024 HR-V, you’ll come to find that although both are small-size travelers, one packs a big punch on the road and beyond.

On the Highway

As you’re going down I-69 or Highway 41, you want to be in a vehicle that can offer you the features you need to trek down the open road with assurance. After all, you may embark on a work trip into Tennessee or just sail down the interstate every day for your job. This calls for a vehicle that can take on the harsh environment that’s a part of highway driving. Fortunately, the 2024 Bronco Sport showcases a fine lineup of powertrain options to help you create the ride you desire as you make your way around Madisonville. The Bronco Sport comes standard with a 181-hp 1.5L EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder, but if you want a bit more excitement in your ride, we recommend choosing the 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder, which clocks in at 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque, adding immense enjoyment to your time on the highway.

Unfortunately, you’ll only find one engine offered in the 2024 HR-V’s lineup. This 2.0L four-cylinder only offers you 158 hp, which can really affect the quality of the ride. It does offer a MacPherson strut front suspension, which adds a little more energy to your experience behind the wheel, but with a continuously variable transmission as the only option offered, the HR-V’s performance is bordering on snooze-worthy. The Bronco Sport’s powertrains are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, making for a more enjoyable and responsive drive.

Another significant factor that can make or break your highway travels is tech, and rest assured; you have a fantastic arsenal of tech features to choose from with the Bronco Sport. With the intuitive SYNC 3 system, you’re able to take advantage of available voice-activated navigation to help you arrive at unfamiliar destinations with confidence. You’ll also enjoy an available 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, wireless charging capabilities, and more available features to help you remain focused and entertained on the road. Similar features can be found in the HR-V, in addition to an 8-speaker audio system and multiple touchscreen options. Unfortunately, this doesn’t make up for the fact that the HR-V limits you when it comes to performance, which can affect the quality of the ride on the highway.

In the Wilderness

Many Madisonville drivers seek to get out into nature for a bit of time to unwind, and if you’re planning a road trip, you’ll want a vehicle that can keep up with what the wilderness tosses your way. When you’ve got the Bronco Sport in charge of your adventure, you won’t have to worry when the terrain becomes challenging because this SUV was made to conquer the elements. With outstanding 4×4 capabilities and available G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Modes, no surface is off limits for this fierce explorer. With the H.O.S.S. (High-Performance, Off-Road, Stability, Suspension) System, the Bronco Sport can keep its cool, even when it’s taking on treacherous environments. Front tow hooks help it get out of a jam, metal bash plates protect it from the elements, and all-terrain tires allow it to traverse deeper into the forest with ease.

Exceptional water fording capabilities, high ground clearance, and a durable build allow the Bronco Sport to travel anywhere, offering immense excitement to your time behind the wheel. When it comes to the Honda HR-V, it’s not exactly built to handle the elements. It offers available Real Time All-Wheel Drive to help enhance traction on rugged terrain and Snow Mode to assist in slippery weather. Hill Descent Control comes in handy in steep environments, but it can’t stand up to this challenge if you come across more rugged terrain.

Those who are looking to load up and head to the campsite will need ample cargo space to accommodate all of their gear. Although the Bronco Sport and HR-V are small travelers, they offer a nice amount of space inside. The Bronco Sport offers a bit more, with up to 65.2 cu.ft. of space in its cargo hold, while the HR-V tops at 55.1 cu.ft. A safari-style roof can be found on the Bronco Sport, which increases its height, allowing you to carry larger gear inside, while under-seat storage, a fold-down second row, and more clever storage compartments throughout provide you with room for everything joining you on the adventure.

In the City

You may be traveling into some of the neighboring cities, which can mean that traffic is unavoidable. Fortunately, you can zip through traffic easily and safely when driving a small SUV like the Bronco Sport or HR-V. The Bronco Sport is designed to be a versatile SUV, allowing you to hit the city streets and seamlessly transform into a rugged adventurer in an instant. It’s ideal for daily commuters throughout Madisonville, providing you with the comfort and innovation you need to enjoy an incredible ride. With available heated seating, a heated steering wheel, cozy appointments, and ample legroom, the Bronco Sport is a favorite for city commuters everywhere. You’ll find a varied selection of trims offered as well, allowing you to create the experience you desire on city streets and beyond.

The Honda HR-V is smaller and shorter than the Bronco Sport, which may make it feel a bit cramped inside. It also doesn’t offer the selection of trims that you’ll get to take advantage of in the Bronco Sport lineup. Opting for a top-level trim will allow you to enjoy a leather-trimmed interior and body-stabilizing seats, but this will come at a cost.

The 2024 Bronco Sport Is the Perfect SUV for Madisonville Drivers

When you want to ensure your travels through Madisonville are comfortable, safe, and capable, the Bronco Sport offers you the features and performance elements you need to be able to take on your travels with certainty. It’s not only ready for adventure but also at home driving to work each day. It showcases impressive power, plenty of space for all your travel belongings, and comfortable appointments to help you make the most of your time on the road. Unfortunately, you’re quite limited when it comes to the HR-V, as this SUV only offers one powertrain, it’s not off-road savvy, and its cargo hold is much smaller than the Bronco Sport. When you want a subcompact SUV that can improve any type of travel situation, you’ll want the Bronco Sport as your dedicated travel companion.

Benefits of the Subcompact Bronco Sport in Newburgh

While there are many benefits to driving the Bronco Sport, which include safety, size, and capability features, there are equally as many advantages to owning this small crossover. When you live in an area like Newburgh, then you know that this historic and quaint atmosphere comes with its challenges, like a slimmer road structure. Driving a large or wide SUV may not be the best option for this because of tight parking spots, parallel parking, and blind spots. With the 2024 Bronco Sport SUV, you’ll find more agility, better visibility, versatile interiors, and more. Of course, this is ideal for new drivers, too, because of its enhanced safety and easy-to-drive nature. You can get everything that makes an SUV great in a compact size. Despite its smaller size, the Bronco Sport has impressive safety features, strength for towing, and flexible seating and cargo hold space. You’ll even have better fuel efficiency and better wind resistance with aerodynamic designs, while larger SUVs are bulkier and take up more space, which makes it more difficult to find one with exceptional fuel efficiency. This is a popular choice in today’s society because of its capabilities, versatility, and affordability. The Ford Bronco Sport is more affordable and is an excellent upgrade from a sedan or hatchback because of its spacious offerings without a scary price tag.

Driving a small, yet capable vehicle in Newburgh is a wise decision. No matter if you’re taking the family out for a day of adventures or treating yourself to a date night downtown, you’ll get there in the comfort and convenience of your Bronco Sport. Take the kids to school, take a trip to the great outdoors, and go anywhere you need to with a powerful and fuel-efficient ride. You’ll never have to stop or worry about breaking down in a dependable and strong Ford SUV.

The Bronco Sport

So, we know why a small SUV is good for a town like Newburgh, but which Ford compact vehicles will get you where you’re looking to go? Fortunately, Ford has an excellent model for this very situation. The Bronco Sport is small in size with a cozy inside, unique features, and engines that are geared up and ready to take the town for a spin without breaking a sweat.

The smallest Ford SUV is the rugged 2024 Bronco Sport. This vehicle can seat up to five people and offers up to 32.5 cu.ft. of cargo space at maximum passenger capacity. Of course, if you have no need for the back row, simply fold it down to get up to 65.2 cu.ft. of cargo hold room. This little car with considerable power is capable of off-roading and providing enough comfort and convenience to entice new and old fans of Ford. The Ford Bronco Sport is customizable with two engine choices: the 1.5L EcoBoost turbocharged I-3 and the 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged I-4. The standard engine, the 1.5L turbo, produces a practical 181 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque, which is ideal for maneuvering around Newburgh.

With good fuel efficiency at a combined 26 MPG, 25 MPG in the city, and 29 MPG on the highway, you’ll keep going and find yourself at the pump less frequently. That’ll take you to work, take the kids to school, and have your weekend adventures covered without having to stop and search for a gas station. It even gets a towing power of up to 2,000 lbs.

Fuel Efficient and Capable

The 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged I-4, on the other hand, gets an exciting 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. With a combined 23 MPG, that’s 21 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway, you will still get good fuel efficiency with more power to enjoy fun rides and off-roading capabilities if equipped. This vehicle will bring some excitement to Newburgh and offer you a trustworthy ride with so much to love. A Bronco Sport with this engine equipped offers up to 2,200 lbs of towing capability.

The Bronco Sport has features to last for years. When you enter the driver’s seat, you’ll notice the stunning 8-inch infotainment display with GPS navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and SYNC 3. You can view the camera views from your display and charge your phone with the available wireless charging located below. The 2024 Bronco Sport offers acoustic luxury with an available subwoofer and B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with ten speakers. This model is even equipped with Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist+, which gives you the confidence to navigate roads on or off the paved path. With features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and other alerts, you will have that crucial peace of mind anywhere you go.

A black 2024 Ford F-150 Hybrid Platinum is towing a grey trailer on a tree-lined road.

The war over the best full-size truck might be the most hotly contested battleground in the auto industry, particularly for the American market. There’s no denying that despite SUVs becoming increasingly popular over the last few decades, powerful trucks continue to be a favorite for many drivers. With that in mind, the Ford F-150 has held onto its position as the best-selling truck in the country for more than 40 years, making it an absolute legend in the industry. Once you start to look at what it offers, it becomes no surprise that so many people are looking for a Ford F-150 for sale year after year. Even with heavy competition from other trucks out there, like the Ram 1500 pickup, the F-150 remains the proverbial top dog and holds onto a seemingly unassailable position in the industry. Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why the F-150 can’t be topped and how it delivers more than the Ram 1500.

More Engines, More Power

The heart of any great truck is its engine-a weak engine leaves you with a weak truck, and there’s just about nothing worse. This is why we love to see that Ford gives you an incredible number of options for the F-150’s powertrain and engines that deliver power beyond just about anything else out there. The 2024 Ram 1500 has just three engines available, and one of them is only offered on the TRX model. If you’re not interested in the TRX, then the Ram 1500 starts with a 3.6L V6 with 305 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, which is good horsepower but underwhelming torque. The available 5.7L HEMI V8 boosts performance up to 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, which is better, but it still falls short of the F-150.

With the Ford F-150, you have six different engines to choose from, giving you far greater freedom to get the kind of power you want. We’ll put aside the available High-Output Supercharged V8 engine since it’s only available on the Raptor R model, which is similar to the TRX in terms of capability. The other five engines still give you excellent options, including the standard turbocharged V6 with its 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, far more torque than the Ram 1500’s standard engine. For incredible performance, the available turbocharged V6 hybrid engine delivers 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque, giving you a fantastic driving experience that blows away what Ram can offer.

Greater Towing and Payload Capacity

Not only does the Ford F-150 give you much more power to enjoy when you’re on the road compared to the Ram 1500, but that power also translates into far greater capability. While horsepower and torque add to a fun ride, the actual work your truck can do is often of greater importance, especially when trying to get a job done. The Ram 1500’s standard engine can handle just 7,730 lbs of towing and up to 2,300 lbs of payload. The available V8 boosts that to 12,750 lbs of maximum towing but a payload rating of just 1,940 lbs.

It’s easy to see a significant problem with the Ram 1500-your choice of engine can either get you good towing or good payload, but not both. The standard engine for the Ford F-150 gives you far greater towing at up to 8,400 lbs, so even if you don’t choose any extra options, you have a powerful truck that can get some serious work done. What makes the F-150 exceptional is that its available EcoBoost turbocharged V6 engine can handle up to 13,500 lbs of towing or up to 2,445 lbs of maximum payload. A single engine has the best ratings for the F-150, so you don’t have to compromise, and both of these numbers are greater capability than what the Ram 1500 is capable of in the best situation possible. This is something you simply can’t beat.

Longer Bed Options

The Ford F-150 not only gives you a greater payload rating but can also handle more behind the cab thanks to a longer available bed. The 2024 Ram 1500 has just two options for the bed length: either a 5.6-foot bed with 53.9 cu.ft. of total cargo volume or a 6.4-foot bed with just over 61 cu.ft. of cargo space in it. With the Ford F-150, you have two options that are similar in size: a 5.5-foot bed with about 52.8 cu.ft. of cargo volume or a 6.5-foot bed with more than 62 cu.ft. of cargo space. However, Ford gives you a third option: an 8.0-foot bed with more than 77 cu.ft. of cargo volume. This means you have a far superior option for loading up with long items like lumber or sheets of drywall, plus more overall room inside the bed on top of the greater payload capacity that leaves Ram wanting.

Superior Tech Features

For many years now, Ram trucks have been known for sophisticated interiors that offer impressive features and advanced technology. We’ll admit that in years past, the features you could find in the Ram 1500 were among the best on the road, and other brands were fighting to catch up. At this point, though, Ford has caught up and surpassed what Ram offers. Consider this: the 2024 Ram 1500 has a 5.0-inch Infotainment display as standard, with an 8.0-inch screen available on higher trims or a 12-inch screen on the highest trim levels. Similarly, four-way manually-adjustable seating is standard in the Ram 1500 along with a 3.5-inch instrument cluster display; features like a full-speed forward-collision warning and blind-spot detection are available options but not standard.

Looking at the 2024 Ford F-150, the tech features that come standard on every model simply put the Ram 1500 to shame. For starters, every F-150 comes with a gorgeous 12-inch Infotainment display; compared to the standard 5.0-inch screen in the Ram 1500, the F-150 is on another level. This is joined by a 12-inch Digital Productivity Screen for you as the driver. Again, the Ram 1500 has a standard 3.5-inch instrument cluster display. You also get the Ford Co-Pilot360 technology standard in every F-150, which includes a forward collision warning, a lane-keeping system, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, a Blind Spot Information System, and much more. All of these impressive driver assist features come together to provide you with a fantastic driving experience every time you hit the road, and they make it easier to reach your destination and enjoy the journey along the way.

More Great Features to Enjoy

In everything we’ve looked at, we didn’t mention some of the extra features Ford offers on the F-150 to take things even further. The Pro Access Tailgate, for example, swings outward easily, giving you superior access to items in your truck bed by putting you up to 19 inches closer to them than with a traditional tailgate. Similarly, the Pro Power Onboard system from Ford provides you with numerous power outlets you can use for external equipment like power tools, TVs, small appliances, and much more, letting you take power with you wherever you go. And when you add in options like the available BlueCruise hands-free driving technology, you get an experience that the Ram 1500 can’t hope to match.

Ready to Experience the F-150 for Yourself?

When you stack them up against each other, it’s not only easy to see why so many people choose the Ford F-150 but also that making such a comparison almost feels unfair. We won’t deny that the Ram 1500 is a fine truck in its own right, but it falls short of what you can get with the F-150 in so many ways that Ford’s truck is just on another level. This is why the F-150 is such a legend and why it has maintained its position at the top of the market for more than four decades, with no signs of slowing down any time soon. Now, all you have to do is decide on the features and options you’re looking for, then let us take care of everything else. We’ll help you find what you need in the Ford F-150 and ensure you have the perfect truck for work, play, and everything in between.

A black 2024 Ford F-150 Platinum is shown towing a trailer.

It’s no secret that the Ford F-150 has been the best-selling truck in America for more than 40 years, and the F-Series, in general, offers the best-selling vehicles overall. We love our trucks, and Ford has tapped into that in ways that no other manufacturer has been able to, making powerful, hard-working trucks designed to deliver what you need day after day. This is why so many people look for a Ford F-150 for sale and find trucks with even more to offer than they expected.

To fully appreciate everything this truck can do, however, it helps to take a step back and look at the big picture. That means checking out not just the F-150 but also the market in general to see how it stacks up. When you look at the Ford F-150 compared to a model like the Chevy Silverado 1500, it becomes easier to understand why so many people love this truck and how well it goes above and beyond everything else. The Silverado 1500 is arguably its biggest competition, so let’s see several ways the F-150 comes through and proves itself as the best truck on and off the road.

More Powerful Engines

When it comes to a hard-working truck, to paraphrase a well-known expression, “A powerful engine isn’t everything; it’s the only thing.” If you’ll forgive our borrowing of that quote, we feel the sentiment is appropriate because what you can get done with your truck often comes down to the kind of power its engine delivers. We don’t care how impressive the design and engineering of a truck’s body and frame are or how well its suspension keeps you in control; put a weak engine in that pickup, and everything else has been pointless.

Ford understands this better than anyone else, so you’ll find engines in the F-150 that deliver incredible power and robust capability. Looking at the 2024 F-150, for example, we see a standard turbocharged V6 that puts out 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, which is a great place to start. From there, you can choose from several boosted options, including a 5.0L V8 or a 3.5L turbocharged V6 with 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. We love that Ford also offers a hybrid engine, which Chevy doesn’t. A PowerBoost hybrid version of that V6 cranks up its performance to 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque, which can help you get a lot of work done.

Looking at the Chevy Silverado 1500, there’s no denying that it also has some impressive engines, but they fall short of what Ford delivers. The standard engine in the 2024 model, for example, is a 2.7L TurboMax that offers 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. This is a bit more torque than Ford’s starting engine but less horsepower, so they’re comparable. The problem for Chevy comes when you look at the other options available-Chevy’s best engine is a 6.2L V8 that offers 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. You can see that’s a far cry from Ford’s best engine, a 5.2L High Output supercharged V8 that offers 700hp and 640 lb-ft. Of course, the supercharged V8 is meant for off-roading capabilities. Still, Chevy’s 6.2L V8 provides a bit less horsepower and massively lower torque than Ford’s hybrid engine. Chevy offers greater torque with its diesel engine. However, it still falls short of the F-150 while losing a lot of horsepower.

A person is shown driving a 2024 Ford F-150 for sale.

Greater Towing and Payload Ratings

Powerful engines are great, but beyond simple bragging rights, they also need to translate into getting some real work done. A sports car has a powerful engine, but you’re not about to tow 10,000 lbs behind it-the engineering of a truck needs to support a tremendous amount of weight. Ford comes through time and again with best-in-class towing that you simply can’t beat, and we see that continue in the modern F-150. The difference in numbers can be minimal, but when you start using them in real-world situations, the difference in capability can feel more pronounced.

With the 2024 Ford F-150, the maximum towing capacity is 13,500 lbs when properly equipped, which is terrific. The Chevy Silverado 1500 can only handle up to 13,300 lbs of maximum towing at best, which is close to what the F-150 can do but falls short. Similarly, the F-150 can handle up to 2,445 lbs of maximum payload, while the 2024 Silverado 1500 tops out at 2,260 lbs of maximum payload capacity. What’s particularly noteworthy, however, is that the F-150 can reach these numbers with the same engine; the Chevy gets its best payload from an engine that can only handle up to 9,500 lbs of towing, while its best towing comes at the cost of less than 2,000 lbs of maximum payload. That’s a trade-off that you don’t have to make when you choose Ford.

Incredible Off-Road Power and Capability

Full-size trucks are some of our favorite options for heading off-road; there’s no denying that the right SUV can also be a great companion out on the trail, but we just like the feel of a truck when navigating the great outdoors. Both the Ford F-150 and the Chevy Silverado 1500 have dedicated trim levels for going off-road, which is great, but Chevy hasn’t quite reached the same level as Ford in this regard. The Silverado 1500 ZR2 can be equipped with the available 6.2L V8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque and an off-road suspension package featuring an off-road cut front bumper to give it a greater approach angle out on the trail. Skid plates protect the underbody of the Silverado ZR2, and overall, it’s an acceptable off-road option, but it can’t keep up with what Ford offers.

The F-150 Raptor, Ford’s off-road beast, features available FOX Racing Dual-Live Valve Shocks with incredible performance and innovative tech that reacts in a fraction of a second to changes on the trail. With internal bypass engineering and position-sensitive damping, these shocks adjust automatically to the terrain you’re on. F-150 Raptor models feature an advanced Terrain Management System with seven modes, including Slippery, Off-Road, and Rock Crawl. To take things to the next level, however, the F-150 Raptor R adds a Baja mode to help you handle the incredible performance of its 720-hp engine and 37-inch tires, creating an off-road monster that nothing can surpass.

A gray 2024 Ford F-150 is shown driving off-road.

Innovative Features and Options

There are many things that make the Ford F-150 America’s favorite truck beyond its robust power, terrific capability, and engineering that lets it go anywhere you can imagine. It’s smartly designed for both work and play, with great features like its Pro Access Tailgate that swings outward to give you easy reach into the truck bed, putting you up to 19 inches closer to your cargo for convenient access. It’s comfortable inside and out, with great luxury and tech features. Plus, you get advanced options that let you take your experience to the next level. For example, the Pro Power Onboard system, available on the F-150 Lightning, gives you multiple electrical outlets and ample power for devices, including power tools, TVs, and much more, making this the ultimate truck for taking care of business, tailgating on the weekend, and doing things the Chevy Silverado just isn’t capable of.

Leading the Way Again and Again

We would never say the Chevy Silverado 1500 is a poor truck-it’s clearly a well-built option that does everything it can to keep up with what the Ford F-150 offers. Unfortunately for Chevy fans, the Silverado 1500 simply falls short in critical areas and reminds us why the F-150 has been the best-selling truck on the road for so long. As a Ford dealership, we’re going to be a bit biased in this regard because we’re passionate about Ford trucks and everything they have to offer. At the end of the day, however, this ultimately comes down to what they can do for our customers because we thrive on being able to help people find amazing vehicles with everything they want in them. The Ford F-150 makes that easy, and all it takes is one test drive to appreciate what one of these trucks can do for you.

When it comes to buying a car, more drivers are choosing to buy used models these days. Not only are they able to get the models they really want with features designed to make their time behind the wheel better, but they get to do so for much more reasonable prices. Not every automaker offers a used lineup that you can count on; however, when you’re interested in a Ford, you’re able to have peace of mind that these models won’t let you down. With a reputation of excellence, the Ford name emanates reliability and satisfaction, and if you’re searching for a used Ford dealer to team up with, you’ll want to choose Kate Faupel Ford. We showcase an inventory of used vehicles that are top-of-the-line, and if you’re on the hunt for a legendary model, we have a few in mind. You’ll want to consider shopping for one of Ford’s most iconic models, so let’s take a look at three of these Ford superstars.

#1 – Ford F-150: America’s Best-Selling Pickup Truck

For 47 years, the F-150 has been the best-selling pickup truck in the nation, and for good reason-it’s tough, powerful, and dependable. The F-Series took to the streets in the 1940s, but the F-150 nameplate didn’t make its debut until 1975. It’s considered one of the best work trucks of all time, offering drivers plenty of options to harness the power and capabilities they need behind the wheel. Over the years, the F-150 has transformed to meet the demands of its legions of fans, and when you choose to buy used, you get to take advantage of features and capabilities that you may not have been able to afford brand new. You may be able to enjoy a more luxurious trim or a more robust engine to help you power through tasks on the job site better than before.

#2 – Ford Ranger: Midsize Pickup Versatility

The midsize Ranger initially arrived on the scene back in the early 1980s, making a statement wherever it chose to travel. From being able to conquer tough tasks on the job site to fearlessly exploring new areas, this do-it-all Ford favorite is a top choice for many drivers. Many are drawn to midsize trucks because of their versatility, and seeing as they’re easier to drive than larger vehicles, it makes sense for drivers to choose a midsize option for all of their work and travel needs. The Ranger took a break from the action for a while in the 2010s, but it wouldn’t be gone forever as the new Ranger charged back onto roadways in 2019.

This midsize truck is strong and ready to show you a fantastic ride, marked by a smooth turbocharged powertrain with Ford-level strength coursing through it. If you’re an off-road enthusiast, you’re in luck-there are plenty of off-road packages available to enhance your time on the trails, making the Ranger a go-to option for those in search of thrills. Its comfortable ride quality and easy handling make it a popular option on the streets, and with multiple ways to customize it, you can find a used Ranger that satisfies your needs behind the wheel.

Choosing a model from its debut year allows you to enjoy advanced tech and ample power for a price that’s easier on your wallet. The 2020 model year saw the addition of the fierce FX2 package, which features off-road tires, a locking rear differential, and other rugged elements to help you travel into the wilderness with confidence. If you’re looking to turn heads while you travel, models from 2022 offer the Splash package, which boasts bright orange and black accents, orange contrast stitching, and other 1990s-era design elements inside and out. If you’re searching for a midsize truck that can do it all, a used Ranger will surely impress you.

#3 – Ford Bronco: Fearlessly Capable Off-Roading

It seems as though everyone is familiar with the Bronco, especially when there’s fun to be had on the trails and beyond. Originally making its debut in the mid-1960s, the Bronco established itself as a ready-for-anything adventurer, built to withstand the elements and trek anywhere you dared to venture. Over the years, it paved the way for other off-roaders to join its stampede; however, its reign came to an end in the 1990s. Although it was disappointing for many drivers to hear this news, they got another chance to experience Bronco greatness when it bounded back into the spotlight for the 2021 model year.

Not only is today’s Bronco extremely fun to drive, but it’s also able to hold its own on virtually any terrain. With legendary 4×4 capabilities, a durable design, and features to intensify the ride, if you want to experience exhilaration on the trails, the Bronco can make it happen. Often going head-to-head with the Jeep Wrangler, the rough-and-tumble Bronco never backs down, and when you want to take advantage of fierce features for affordable prices, used models from its debut year won’t steer you wrong.

From top-level tech to an exceptionally durable design, the 2021 Bronco is a great pick for those looking to explore the great outdoors. If you want to take advantage of vintage vibes, the 2023 model year introduced the Bronco Heritage Edition, adorned with 1960s-inspired styling elements, specialized wheel designs, and more features to pay homage to its roots. If you’re looking for a vehicle that can go anywhere, the Bronco will show you that your adventures have the potential to be absolutely epic.

A blue 2022 Ford Escape is shown from the rear at an angle after leaving a used Ford dealer.

Finding the perfect vehicle can be tricky; not only do you need to know what you’re looking for in your next ride, but you have to narrow down the vast sea of options into a smaller pool that you can actually navigate to find what you want. This can be even harder if you’re interested in a pre-owned vehicle since you have far more models to look at beyond what’s available in the current model year. It simplifies things if you focus on just one model at a time to see what it has offered through the years and ensure you get what you need in your next ride.

If you’re interested in a compact SUV at your favorite used Ford dealer, then the Ford Escape is the perfect model to focus on. This little beauty has been around for more than 20 years, and throughout that time, it has been a popular option, which means you’ll find a lot of them out there-in great condition-on the used market. Even narrowing things down to only the Ford Escape still leaves you with many model years to look at, so we thought it would help to quickly go over some key things you should have in mind. In particular, we will break down the generations for the Ford Escape, look at some notable model years with that in mind, and point out important trims and features to look for. Let’s dig in!

The First-Generation Ford Escape (2001-2007)

The Ford Escape first hit the market for the 2001 model year, so these are the oldest ones you’ll find. Initially offered as either an XLS or XLT model, the Escape launched with a standard 2.0L engine and a 3.0L V6 available, plus it was offered with available all-wheel drive (AWD). If you consider one of these first-generation Escape models, then we strongly recommend you choose one with the available V6 engine since the boosted power was quite popular on its release.

Another thing to remember is that Ford gave the Escape a mid-cycle update and refresh for the 2005 model year. This includes an improved standard engine and improved safety features, including advanced airbags and seatbelt systems. 2005 also saw a re-tuned automatic transmission and an impressive hybrid engine became available. We still think a second-gen or later Escape is the way to go, but if one of these older models is better for your car budget, look for one from after this update so you can get improved features.

The Second-Generation Ford Escape (2008-2012)

For its second generation, Ford redesigned the Escape and improved it in numerous ways, including the addition of an electronic stability control system as standard on all models, which helps with cornering and improves overall performance. For those looking to find a lower-cost vehicle that has great modern features, this is the generation to look into.

A 2.4L engine remained standard for the 2008 model year, though Ford replaced it with a new 2.5L engine for 2009 for improved performance. The available 3.0L V6 was significantly improved for superior horsepower and torque, so you get a better driving experience with a second-gen Escape no matter which engine you find. Ford also re-tuned and improved the suspension for the second generation, along with the braking system, to create a superior experience overall.

These second-generation models have XLS, XLT, and Limited trim levels, and the hybrid powertrain remains an available option, so keep that in mind as you look at used Escapes. For the 2009 model year, the four-speed automatic transmission was replaced by a six-speed automatic-if you’re looking at second-gen options, we suggest skipping 2008 models and going for 2009 or later. There were other minor improvements from year to year, but nothing major through the end of this generation.

A red 2017 Ford Escape is shown from the front.

The Third-Generation Ford Escape (2013-2019)

For the 2013 model year, Ford released a redesigned, all-new third-generation Escape. The redesign includes significant improvements such as a 10% increase in aerodynamics, the MyFord Touch entertainment system, and an available Foot-Activated Liftgate. A 2.5L I-4 engine is standard on 2013 base Escape models, with a couple of EcoBoost turbocharged engines available for boosted performance and impressive fuel efficiency in higher trims. Ford discontinued the manual transmission at this point, so all third-gen Escape models feature a six-speed automatic.

You can find a starting S trim for the Escape with front-wheel drive (FWD) or higher trims such as the SE, SEL, and Titanium that have either FWD or available AWD. For third-generation models, the standard engine was improved for greater performance with the 2015 model year. The SEL trim was briefly discontinued after its first year in this generation but returned for the 2018 model year. The 2017 Ford Escape features a mid-generation update and refresh, including a new front fascia, reshaped exterior lighting, and more design improvements. Ford’s Sync 3 Infotainment system replaces the MyFord Touch system from previous years, while enhanced safety tech like a forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control become available.

The Fourth-Generation Ford Escape (2020-Current)

If you want a great used Ford Escape with some of the latest features and technology you’ll find on current models, stick to the fourth generation. Launching with the 2020 model year, the fourth-gen Escape has once again been redesigned and is now 200 lbs lighter than the previous generation. Despite this reduction in weight, it’s actually a bit longer and has a wider track, which has made the interior of the Escape more spacious for you and your passengers. An 181-hp turbocharged 1.5L engine is standard on 2020 models, with a 250-hp turbocharged 2.0L engine available if you want more power; you can also find these used Escape models with a standard hybrid or plug-in hybrid engine.

The fourth generation for the Escape kicks off with five trim levels to consider: the starting S, an enhanced SE, an SE Sport, the impressive SEL, and the pinnacle Titanium trim. The SE Sport trim only lasted the first year and became an available package for the 2021 and 2022 model years, making the lineup easier to navigate as you look at used models. You can still find FWD and AWD models, and the non-hybrids feature an eight-speed automatic transmission. Ford gives this fourth-gen Escape a refresh for the 2023 model year, including new styling for the front grille and headlights, updated rear lighting, and a revised interior. Since the update, a pair of 8.0-inch displays is standard for the Infotainment system and digital gauge cluster, with a 12.3-inch dashboard display and 13.2-inch Infotainment screen available.

Find the Used Ford That’s Perfect for You

As you can see, the Ford Escape has been through quite a few changes in the two decades (and counting) since it first hit the road. These changes can be fairly minor in some cases from one year to another or significant if you’re looking at a new generation for the Escape. That’s why it’s so important that you take your time when shopping for a used vehicle, consider all of your options, and check to ensure you know what you’re getting with any model you’re interested in. While your budget can dictate many of your decisions, you still have tremendous freedom when looking at different used Escape models. This freedom lets you explore what’s out there, compare different options, and make sure you get the perfect vehicle with everything you need.

Design Enhancements

One look at the 2024 F-150, and you’ll realize that it’s different. From the front, its upgraded grille and front end boast a more upscale appeal. Instantly recognizable as a Ford, the newest F-150 to hit the scene emits a more lavish persona than before. You’ll also notice sparkling new lighting elements, a variety of showstopping wheel designs, and more fabulous features to heighten this truck’s presence in the industry. From the back, its tailgate and bed have received updates as well, with a wider step cut-out for easy access to the bed, as well as a deeper bumper to add supreme value to the F-150’s tailgate.

Perhaps what’s most appreciated is the new Pro Access Tailgate, which allows you to configure how your tailgate opens. This available feature boasts a 100-degree integrated swing gate, making the F-150 the only truck in its class to offer this level of functionality. This feature can be utilized in many different ways, including a 37-degree opening to avoid bumping into a trailer jack, a 70-degree opening for maneuvering gear out in tight spaces, and a 100-degree opening for effortless loading and unloading of your vehicle. You’ll also get to add a rear bumper step to make accessing your bed easier. A bed storage box located behind the rear wheels creates a place to store tools and other important items, and with a heavy-duty lock, securing it is easy.

Powertrain Changes

Ford has always offered a phenomenal set of powertrain options for its vehicles, especially the F-150. For 2024, these powertrains have been changed up a bit to offer drivers even more capability than before. For one, its old 3.3L V6 has been swapped out for the 2.7L EcoBoost turbocharged V6, which offers more horsepower and torque, as well as greater fuel efficiency than the outgoing base engine. However, the rest of the lineup is unchanged, giving you plenty more engine options when you want to harness exceptional power and performance during your ride.

When it comes to towing and hauling, rest assured that this truck and its available powertrain options won’t let you down. The 2024 F-150 showcases a best-in-class maximum towing capability of 13,500 lbs and a class-leading payload capacity of 2,455 lbs with its available 3.5L turbocharged V6. No matter what task you’re tackling next and what type of engine you need to power you forward, rest assured that the 2024 Ford F-150 lineup has a configuration that will exceed your expectations.

Heightened Innovation

There’s a lot to talk about when it comes to the level of innovation found in 2024 F-150 models. Perhaps what’s most exciting is the fact that F-150 models can be armed with updated BlueCruise hands-free driving capabilities. This advanced feature allows the F-150 to take the reins, maneuvering through traffic on 97% of controlled access highways across North America. You’ll also find a plethora of driving assistance features to help make any type of journey better, with the 2024 F-150 offering ten standard driving assist aids, including Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, a Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, and more.

Trailering tech is as advanced as ever, with features like Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, which utilizes a rear camera system to help you hitch up your trailer effortlessly. You’re able to control aspects like speed, steering, and braking with one button while you align your hitch with impeccable precision. You can utilize Pro Trailer Backup Assist to reverse with confidence with your trailer in tow, and with a class-exclusive Smart Hitch available, you’ll be able to keep your truck within its safe tongue weight with ease.

The innovation doesn’t end there. Inside, you’ll notice a 12-inch touchscreen prominently displayed on the dash, which is standard across the board this year. You’ll also get to enjoy a 12-inch digital gauge cluster behind the steering wheel, which provides access to important details about your ride. An available Head-Up Display can be enjoyed in the F-150 for the first time ever, displaying details about your ride, like speed, navigation prompts, and more on the windshield, so you never have to take your eyes off the road. The 2024 F-150 also gives you elevated peace of mind in the unfortunate instance of vehicle theft with all-new Ford Stolen Vehicle Services that help you locate your F-150 if it’s stolen.

Off-Road Agility

The more adventurous F-150 trims have also been enhanced for 2024, allowing fearless drivers to take advantage of even more capabilities when traveling on daunting terrain. The Tremor sees new design features this year, with an available modular front bumper to elevate its intimidating presence and a light bar to enhance visibility when traveling through the dense wilderness. Tremor badging throughout, plus exciting orange accents, specialized running boards, and durable interior appointments, make the F-150 Tremor a top pick for those looking to get a little muddy on the trails.

The rugged Raptor variant has also been enhanced with new FOX Dual Live Valve shocks to elevate stability and control in some of Mother Nature’s most challenging environments. With a more controlled experience, you’re able to take on more treacherous terrain with the knowledge that your truck is able to handle it like a true expert. As far as design is concerned, the F-150 Raptor can also be accentuated with a modular bumper and light bar, and with available 37-inch tires, traversing the elements is no sweat for this fearless explorer. This variant is more intimidating than ever, and when it comes to making a statement on the trails, the Raptor proves that the F-150 is the leader of the pack.

A blue 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is shown from the front at an angle.

Small SUVs are dominating the roadways, and it’s no surprise, seeing as they’re incredibly versatile and ready for virtually any type of travel scenario in existence. They can take on the daily drive with gusto, stare adventure right in the face without backing down, and offer you the ride quality, assurance, and innovation you need to enjoy every minute you’re behind the wheel. At Kate Faupel Ford, we’re your go-to Ford dealer when you’re searching for your next dependable SUV, and if you’re in the market for a small traveler, we have two in mind that will wow you.

The subcompact Bronco Sport isn’t just ready to enhance excitement when the terrain becomes daunting; it’s also able to make the most out of the everyday commute. The compact Escape isn’t just a dedicated daily driver; it’s also ready to tow your boat out to the lake for the weekend. So, should you choose the Bronco Sport or Escape? Well, that answer depends on your needs. Let’s see where each of these Ford favorites excels.

Commute Friendly

Every commuter knows that the right car can make rush hour much more bearable, especially when it comes to stop-and-go traffic and unexpected delays on your way home from a hectic day at the office. Fortunately, small SUVs like the Bronco Sport and Escape are able to take on even the most stressful commutes with ease. One of the most important aspects of a commuter vehicle is fuel efficiency, especially when you’re frequently traversing bustling city streets and traffic-laden interstates.

Both the Bronco Sport and Escape can handle this, although the Escape has an edge over the Bronco Sport in this area. With an EPA-estimated 42 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway with its hybrid model, or 27 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway with its standard 1.5L EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder, the 2024 Escape is one fuel-efficient machine. The 2024 Bronco Sport also performs well here, with the ability to get an estimated 25 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway with its own EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder setup. Ride quality is also important, and this is another area where the Escape outperforms the Bronco Sport with its easy maneuverability and car-like handling. The Bronco Sport exhibits more truck-like tendencies, lacking the level of finesse on the highway that you’ll find in vehicles like the Escape.

Comfort is key during the commute, and when it comes to enjoying the ride, you’ll find that the Escape is more in tune with your needs. It showcases a roomy cabin space, as well as cozy features to elevate the ride. From quilted leather seating materials to a heated steering wheel and a Panoramic Vista Roof, the interior of the Escape provides you with the oasis you require during your daily drive. The Bronco Sport is also nicely styled; however, it has a more rugged aesthetic than trends towards durable over luxurious. You’ll find that the interior is more geared toward adventure, with washable flooring and easy-clean seats. If you’re more interested in a sophisticated ambiance as you make the trek to work, the Escape is most likely to satisfy your needs.

Adventure Ready

The word “adventure” means something different to everyone. For some, it’s bounding down the trails, kicking up mud, and exploring new territories. For others, it’s towing a camper out into the wilderness and sitting by the campfire, staring up at the stars. Depending on what your version of adventure entails, the Bronco Sport or the Escape may be the right pick.

When it comes to towing your camper or boat out for a weekend unplugged, you’ll find more towing power with the 2024 Escape, which is able to tow up to 3,500 lbs with its optional 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder. This can handle a small camper or trailer, making it easy to take a trip to the campsite for some time out in nature. The 2024 Bronco Sport can tow slightly less than this, capping out at 2,200 lbs; however, that’s still enough to haul a couple of dirt bikes or a recreational trailer to your destination.

Of course, when it comes to off-roading, the Bronco Sport blasts past the Escape, as it’s armed with serious capabilities when the terrain becomes unreasonable. Impeccable 4×4 capabilities, up to seven GOAT (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Modes, and a rugged design allow it to tackle the elements, from snow to mud and everything in between. A specialized suspension system, metal bash plates, available tow hooks, and durability that can’t be rivaled make this small traveler capable of making your time in the wilderness utterly epic.

When it comes to handling cargo and gear for your adventure, these two SUVs are neck-and-neck, offering a maximum cargo volume of 65.4 cu.ft. in the Escape and 65.2 cu.ft. in the Bronco Sport. The Bronco Sport’s safari-style roof provides extra headroom, making the experience for your passengers more enjoyable, and with under-seat storage, various storage pockets, and a fold-down second row, accommodating your adventure gear is no sweat for the Bronco Sport. The Escape offers sliding second-row seats, allowing you to take advantage of some extra space for cargo, and with a power liftgate, you’re able to load and unload the Escape with ease. When it comes to adventure, the Bronco Sport is a bit more exciting, although the Escape can definitely hold its own.

A red 2024 Ford Escape is shown from the front at an angle.

Tech Savvy

Technology makes any drive better, and whether you’re interested in connectivity, safety, driver assistance, or all of the above, these skilled SUVs will impress you. As far as touchscreens are concerned, you’ll find the larger option available in the 2024 Escape’s lineup, which includes an available 13.2-inch touchscreen display. The 2024 Bronco Sport only offers an eight-inch option. Both SUVs showcase a laundry list of must-have tech features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, although in the Escape, this integration can be enjoyed wirelessly. Available wireless charging can be enjoyed in both, as well as an available Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The 2024 Bronco Sport offers an available front-facing camera to act as your dedicated trail guide as you explore the wilderness, helping you avoid obstacles and navigate unfamiliar environments. You’ll also get to enjoy the SYNC 3 system, which will provide access to all the apps and helpful tools needed during the ride. The 2024 Escape upgrades your connectivity experience through the SYNC 4 system, which allows you to enjoy features like hands-free calling, voice-activated navigation, voice-activated apps, and much more. You’ll also get to take advantage of an available 360-degree camera system to help you maneuver through unfamiliar areas and take on busy parking lots like a pro. Speaking of parking, opt for Active Park Assist 2.0 and let the Escape take control of daunting streetside parking situations. Although both SUVs offer a fabulous selection of tech features, the Escape goes above and beyond here.

Bronco Sport or Escape? You Decide

It’s evident that both the Bronco Sport and Escape offer drivers the chance to enjoy an all-around phenomenal ride, no matter where the road takes you. If you’re searching for a confident everyday driver with loads of tech features and a carefully laid-out cabin that offers ample comfort and versatility, the Escape may be the perfect choice for you. However, if you’re looking for more excitement during your off-road escapades yet still need a vehicle that can take on the daily drive, the Bronco Sport is ready to show you what it’s got. As you can see, it really depends on your driving requirements. Regardless, you’ll find both of these outstanding options just waiting to wow you in our inventory.

A green 2024 Ford Explorer Timberline is shown from the front at an angle while towing

Everyone knows Ford. They’re a dependable and respectable brand that was America’s first American-based auto manufacturer. Today, Ford has many different variations of vehicles, ranging in type, size, color, and level of comfortability and capability. The 2024 Ford Explorer has an expansive lineup to add to their collection. A sporty, adventurous side is evident this year. From practical features to special features, the Explorer is able to provide a multitude of abilities for its drivers and passengers.

There’s a Little Something for Everyone in This Skillfully Crafted SUV

The Explorer’s first model year was a 1991 rugged SUV. This first model began its credible history as a reliable, family-friendly vehicle that could outperform its competition. Its second generation made some aerodynamic design changes to increase fuel efficiency, but Ford didn’t stop there. The Explorer’s second generation also got a mechanical upgrade to improve performance by adding powerful V6 and V8 engines. It wasn’t until the third generation that a third-row seater option became available. Drivers continued to be pleased with the added safety features, exterior updates, and technological advancements in the fourth and fifth generations. Today, the sixth generation continues to impress the Industry and the Public with its reliability, convenience, interior comforts, and connectivity.

The 2024 model is a full-size three-row-seater SUV with a tough shell to secure its cozy insides. With an affordable MSRP of $36,860, the Explorer is ready to get out and explore (as the name suggests).[a] A powerful new look to go with powerful engines like the 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 and 3.0L EcoBoost V6 will make every drive fun. It can produce a maximum of 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque with solid fuel efficiency. This is a fun car for families, as it can seat up to seven people.

Which Trim Level is Right for You?

Are you looking for the perfect Explorer for you and your family? Check out the wide selection of trim options that the 2024 model has to offer. From the rugged and dependable base trim to the stunning upper trim levels, there is something for everyone. The 2024 lineup includes the Explorer, Explorer XLT, ST, ST-Line, Timberline, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum. Depending on what you’re looking for in terms of comfort, design, technology, safety, and convenience will affect your decision of which trim level is best for you. Discover the features that will add value to your driving experience.

A white 2024 Ford Explorer King Ranch is shown from the front.

Explorer

The base trim of the Explorer is simply called the Explorer. With an I-4 engine, this Explorer can put out an impressive 300 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. It can even do some heavy lifting by towing a max of 5,600 lbs. Just because it is the base trim does not mean this vehicle sacrifices power or strength-or cargo space, for that matter, as it can hold up to 87.8 cu.ft. of cargo if the second-row and third-row seats are folded down. If you’re bringing the whole family, there is still some room to store luggage or groceries at 18.2 cu.ft. of space, which still allows for plenty of leg and headroom in all three rows. The Explorer base trim even has some key features like rear parking sensors, a power liftgate, and seven drive modes for any type of terrain. Of course, crucial safety features also come standard, like the Roll Stability Control, Belt-Minder, SOS Post Crash Alert System, and more that will add confidence to your journey.

Explorer XLT

Next in line is the Explorer XLT, which has similar safety and special features, like the rear parking sensors. However, the XLT also sports the Active X Seating, which is stain-resistant and allows for easy cleaning; it certainly gives a luxurious appeal. Intelligent Access is another benefit to the XLT trim level because it allows you to start the XLT remotely and from the driver’s seat without using a key. This trim level is certainly able to keep things high-end. Opt-in for even more security and assurance with the SecruiCode Keyless Entry Keypad and Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror.

Explorer ST-Line

The durable ST-Line trim level starts with an MSRP of $46,455 and has an optional intelligent 4WD drivetrain.[a] Like the XLT, the Active X Seating creates a premium interior for the ST-Line; however, this trim also includes Miko inserts with red stitching to give the inside design a striking appearance. You’ll also notice that the ST-Line comes standard with some additional safety assistance features. The Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is there to protect and alert while being a perfect feature for crowded cities or overpopulated highways. This package includes intelligent adaptive cruise control, speed sign recognition, and automatic lane centering. Want more entertainment? You’re in luck. This trim features a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen to bring you mastery of sound quality through 12 speakers, including a subwoofer.

Welcome to the Timberline trim line, with seating available for seven and a performance that will rock your socks off. Even its exterior-more specifically, its dark carbonized gray grille-sets it apart from the rest of the Explorer lineup. It is built for off-roading and adventure beyond the horizon. A great feature of the Timberline is the Off-Road Light Kit, with LED headlamps that guide the way for those nighttime explorations. Even the undercarriage is covered so that no sticks or stones will break this SUV’s bones, with steel skid plates and a 3.58 TORSEN limited-slip rear axle.

Explorer Limited

Don’t limit yourself, and check out the 2024 Explorer Limited. Sit high on 20-inch wheels and relax on leather-trimmed seats with micro-perforated seats that can heat and ventilate the front row. Stay connected with a SYN3 10.1-inch LCD Capacitive touchscreen for all the information and entertainment you’ll need. Whether you’re going a long way from home or dropping the kids off at school, the Limited won’t limit your driving experience. You can run errands or go on adventures in comfort.

Explorer ST

Starting with an MSRP of $50,105, the Explorer ST features a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine, which gives you enough horsepower and torque to pull heavy loads and do jobs other SUVs are afraid to try.[a] It is paired with auto-stop-start technology for added convenience and performance. Its interior is as top-tier as the Timberline and Limited; however, it is stitched with City Silver accents. There is even an optional premium technology package available on the ST trim for all the upgrades you want or are searching for.

Explorer King Ranch

Just like the ST, the King Ranch is fitted with a powerful V6 engine for optimal handling and performance, as well as stop-start technology. You can also sit high like the Limited on 20-inch wheels, though the design features King Ranch center caps. However, what makes this vehicle unique is the Del Rio Leather with Lasso-Perforated inserts and logos for all rows. This is a professional design for exceptional luxury.

Explorer Platinum

The Explorer Platinum is able to seat seven with an MSRP of $54,770.[a] This top-notch trim line has some pretty exciting interior features for both comfort and entertainment. The leather seats are fitted with tri-diamond perforated inserts and exclusive embroidery. If passengers look to the roof, they’ll notice the twin-panel moonroof, perfect for adding a spacious feel and letting in a light breeze. The Platinum offers the B&O Sound System with two added speakers totaling 14 instead of 12, including the subwoofer. The Platinum is ready to provide a rugged exterior to handle any terrain while remaining cozy on the inside.

When you look for a Ford Bronco Sport for sale, what do you look for? What are the key features you want? Many Bronco Sport drivers appreciate its rugged good looks while also pointing out its towing capacity, off-road abilities, and customizability. The Bronco Sport may be smaller than its cousin, the Bronco, but that doesn’t mean you have to hold back from the adventures you’ve been dreaming about–you can do almost anything with the Bronco Sport. Many possibilities are open to you when you drive the Bronco Sport, including camping, road trips, and visits to parks, forests, and more.

But are there some features that stand out above the rest? The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is filled to the brim with options, including a host of convenient cargo spaces, the newest tech, and practical materials that are easy to clean. You don’t have to tread carefully with the Bronco Sport. If you’ve been thinking about switching to something a little more on the wild side, something that can roll with the punches and take you where you’ve never gone before, it’s time to try out the Ford Bronco Sport.

#1 – Free Wheeling

One of the things we love most about the Ford Bronco Sport is the nostalgia. Many of us grew up being driven around in a Ford Bronco. By acknowledging what we loved about the classic Bronco and bringing traditional elements to the newest edition, Ford has created a special vehicle that will appeal to not only those who enjoyed the classic Bronco but also those who are being introduced to it for the first time. To that end, Ford has given the 2024 Bronco Sport a standalone Free Wheeling trim, which brings the past into the present by giving the Bronco Sport a look like no other.

If you want something new that retains the feel of the classic vehicle you love, this one is perfect for you. The Free Wheeling includes retro-inspired sunset graphics, specialty wheels with red accents, and a grille that sparkles in the sun. This trim works well for those who want something a little more unique or those who crave a piece of nostalgia to call their own. If you saw the original Bronco in its heyday, you’ll want to relive those glorious memories with the Free Wheeling trim of the 2024 Bronco Sport.

#2 – All-Wheel Drive

With so many drivetrain options and diverse price tags available on other vehicles, a simple standard is refreshing, especially when it’s what you really need if you’re interested in exploring off the beaten path. All 2024 Ford Bronco Sport trims come standard with all-wheel drive, which is perfect for those who want to tow larger items with them to a campsite, park, or other recreational area. The 2024 Bronco Sport can tow up to 2,200 lbs with its top engine, which means you can bring your mountain bikes, kayaks, or teardrop trailer with you on your adventures.

All-wheel drive will assist you when encountering off-road terrain like mud, snow, and swampy ground so that you’re less likely to get stuck. You’ll have better traction all around for whatever you want, and you won’t have to worry about needing someone to pull you out of a precarious situation. The 2024 Bronco Sport has what it takes to trek across dirt, sand, and other terrain you wouldn’t want to cross with a lesser vehicle. Don’t give up on your dreams of adventure–get behind the wheel of a Bronco Sport, and you’ll want to take off on an adventure whenever you get the chance.

#3 – Power Inverter

When you go camping, fishing, hunting, or boating, there are many times when you will need or want small appliances, tools, and electronic devices. If the thought of loading up several pounds of batteries does not appeal to you, the 2024 Bronco Sport offers another way to power up your drill, projector, or other equipment. The Bronco Sport has an available 400-watt power inverter that can provide your devices with AC power. If a battery dies while you’re camping, you can switch on the inverter and save the day (or night), allowing everyone to charge their phones, tablets, or laptops, as well as power up a host of tools should you be on the job.

What else can you do with a power inverter? You can hook your microwave up to it in order to heat up food if the power has gone out at your campsite or house. You can make breakfast using the inverter, a toaster, and a coffee machine. You can work from the outdoors, power up a portable stereo system, and so much more–your imagination is the limit.

#4 – Backseat Storage Bin

Since the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is smaller than its big brother, there is a need for inventive cargo space, and to that effect, the Bronco Sport has a storage bin situated under the backseat. Not only does this provide additional cargo space, but it also gives you a space that’s hidden away for those items that don’t need to be seen by prying eyes. You can keep your bulky items in there as well, such as fishing tackle, a set of tools, an extra change of clothes, or additional food. You’ll love having more cargo space for all those necessities that go along with the activities you’re planning.

Whether you’re planning on hiking and want to leave your bags and extra clothes behind, or you keep a stash of emergency items in case of inclement weather, there’s space for all of that and more in the Ford Bronco Sport’s backseat storage bin. Add your pet’s camping equipment and toys, your extra pair of hiking boots, or your gloves, hats, and extra cords, all without jumbling it up in a pile on the floor of the backseat.
